Funniest Book I've Ever Read!!!

Derwood Inc. is one of the funniest books that I have ever read!

It's got a mystery and comical family adventures all intertwined together!

The best scene in the book is where the kids are sledding down a dangerous hill on a mattress while being chased by bad guys.

During the chase, the male protagonist, Jack, yells to a nosy neighbor, "The adoption agency is after us!"

The dangers with the "Fifty Ton, Mile Long, Giant Killer Octopus" are also not to be missed!

Great idea just poorly executed.

The idea of the wealthy, handsome head of a large jewelry store change, Roman Pratt, being attracted to the smart, talented and pretty owner of a small quaint jewelry boutique, Alexis Turner, are the ingredients of a good love story. For me, the story started to fall apart due to Alexis' attitude, she was vain and duplicitous; and I found her unlikeable. Roman, on the other hand was truly contrite about possibly being the cause of her going out of business. In reality, is was in serious financial trouble and was on the verge of losing the store. He gave her a job making more than she ever could and she knew it. She also was attracted to him but kept accusing him of running her out of business. But for all that, it was the unrealistic and unnatural dialogue between the characters the was the final nail.

I've just finished this book and as promised it gives me a great deal of information about the business involved on planning, development, marketing and support of an app on Apple's App Store. It's a well written piece that goes deep as possible on the matter.

Since the author is a developer, each chapter shares information, experiences and useful tips about almost all phases of app development.

In my opinion, there's only one fault in this book: a chapter discussing submission/approval procedures on App Store.

If you want to understand what you have to do to transform your idea into an app that can make this way on the iDevices everywhere, this is the first book you must read.
