Geek Love!

Quantic Love es el segundo libro de Sonia Fernández-Vidal. Está escrito en primera persona y es narrado por Laila, la protagonista. Lo leí creyendo que hablaría del por qué te enamoras, cuáles son los químicos o mejor dicho que sucede en tu organismo que te hace sentir el amor. No fue así. Está dividido en capítulos, la historia es contada cronológicamente. Los títulos de los capítulos son claros y concisos, son frases que representan el tema o lo ocurrido en el capítulo. La autora utiliza un lenguaje informal. Para un lector promedio es un libro muy fácil y rápido de leer. Va dirigido a un público juvenil y con ganas de aprender pequeños datos científicos. La historia trata sobre Laila, una chica que está a punto de iniciar la universidad. Ese mismo verano entra a trabajar al CERN (Conseil Européen pour la Recherche Nucléaire, en español Organización Europea para la Investigación Nuclear) como camarera del restaurante 1. En su primer día de trabajo conoce a Alessio, un periodista con acento italiano muy apuesto que la hará dudar sobre sus sentimientos más de una vez. Pero por otro lado tiene a Brian, un joven científico con un gran pasado y una mente brillante. Mientras Laila decide de quien en realidad se ha enamorado, cuenta con el apoyo de Angelina, su compañera de cuarto y la estudiante con el mejor expediente académico. Quantic Love es una historia de verano, escoger entre el físico y arte o cerebro y ciencia. Se me hizo una bonita historia y muy sencilla, claro que me hubiera gustado mayor participación del primer personaje que conoce Laila (el señor mayor que conoce al llegar y luego vuelve a ver en el restaurante).

Gran Obra

Este libro, es una gran obra, me encanto, y me enamoro, y mas si incluía entre sus paginas la física cuántica, gracias a este libro, y a la autora, aprendí algo nuevo, lo recomiendo mucho, aunque ahí otra obra de esta autora que me decepciono bastante.

Laila es una joven estudiante sevillana que decide trabajar durante el verano como camarera en el CERN, el centro de investigación más avanzado del mundo que se encuentra situado en Suiza.
Allí conocerá a Angelina, su compañera de habitación. Una chica muy inteligente, extravagante y muy guapa.
En su primer día de trabajo conoce a Alessio, un joven periodista que está haciendo las prácticas. Y a Brian, un científico que además es el guía de las visitas al CERN.
Laila hace amigos muy pronto y comienza a sentirse atraída tanto por Alessio como por Brian.
Entre malentendidos, junto a la timidez de ella y con la ayuda de Angi, Laila intentará aclarar sus sentimientos y descubrirá que este verano será especial y que la va a cambiar para siempre.
Escrito por Sonia Fernández - Vidal y cedida a El club de las lectoras por su editorial La Galera, "Quantic Love" es un libro fresco, juvenil, ameno, fácil de leer, en el que además de la historia de Laila encontraremos referencias científicas que nos ayudarán a conocer mejor el mundo que nos rodea, junto a una prosa con frases y citas que nos harán pensar.
