Great Resource

This is a really nice resource for an SLP working with the TBI population. It is not as repetitive to other resources that I already own that I feared it might be, which is wonderful (especially considering it is almost $100). I would have liked it if it contained a bonus CD with printable forms for the activities and worksheets. I really like that it gives a lot of background info and suggestions for making activities more difficult.
The book is set up nicely. Suggests parameters to evaluate, standardized/non-standardized tests/observations, and simulated situations. Also provides resources for family and compensatory strategies. Overall a very nice all-in-one book that you can also use for CVA and other patients as well as the TBI population.

Wonderful TX resource for TBI and right CVA patients

This is a wonderful resource for clinician's, especially those that may NOT be used to working with TBI, right CVA and the higher level dysfunctions. It has exercises, compensatory strategies for both the patient, and suggestions for the patient. I've used it for years.

Excellent therapy guide with useful and functional tasks

This is an excellent book for beginning therapists as well as those who have been in the field for several years. I have had the distinct pleasure of working with these authors over the last few months and have found them to be an excellent example of dedicated speech therapists who are willing to go the extra mile for their clients who are higher functioning. The acitivites in this book are functional and easy to adapt to individual clients and their needs.
